| | | | Devhook .46 bluescreen of death Hey, when I turn on my 1.5 PSP, I always have a UMD in the drive and of course it automatically loads......My problem is that when I dont have a UMD in the drive and turn on my PSP, i get the blue screen of death. Why is this happening, is it because of devhook .46 that I have installed and is the blue screen of death bad and can it cause damage. I just dont want to mess up my psp and brick it. Also I dont get why i can run my psp with a umd in the drive and it loads automatically and I just exit out but when I dont have a umd in the drive, i get the blue screen of death. Help me out here. Thanks in advance |

if you can access xmb at all try reinstalling the registry for one of the net or a mate and see if it works any better by using file assisstant to delete the old ones and copy the replacement registry over
or you could try reupdating to 1.5

It's weird, I don't see how DevHook could cause this kind of thing. |

Ok so this is for both of you guys, if the flash0 is corrupt, what can I do? (Is that bad if the flash0 is corrupt ie will it screw up my PSP more) Also yes it is the blue screen where it asks you to do the default settings and no I did not mess with the registry with a font hack or anything like that. How can I clean out those files and get the files from someone else and upload them. I dont really understand what to do.
I dont mind just having a UMD in my drive everytime I start up my PSP and just exiting the game but I just dont want my PSP to be screwed up more than it is because of this problem. Thanks |
