Hey guys I just bought a psp at best buy for 80$ CA! And it’s an old motherboard and a 2.6 FW. Very cool anyways I want to downgrade this bad boy what is the safest way to downgrade from 2.6 to 1.50 remember I am just starting (= noob) with downgrading I have done most of the other stuff.

ps i have looked around for a downgrader but what one is safe i have seen like 2 or 3 my psp came with 2.6....

If you have GTA UMD you should download this downgrade Easy 2.50/2.60 Full Downgrade
If you don´t have GTA UMD you should update to 2.71 by donwloading this Update and copy it to PSP/GAME/UPDATE, now update, when you have updated, download this Downgrade.
When you have the file, on your pc, open it, and you should do exactly what the guy says and you have a 1.50 psp

Try here.
Basically, Follow the steps and stop when you have version 1.5.

Fast, free and painless... IF you dont have a TI-082.

I think you mean "TA-082".

Or, if that doesn't help, check out the Help/Tutorials forum! There's plenty of great downgrader guides, for 2.50, 2.60, and 2.71!
