Problems removing faceplate

I just bought a new faceplate for my psp. I am having trouble removing the two screws on the right of the back of the psp. Would i just be able to force the faceplate of by prying it open or would it damage anything?

lol dont do it, that would definatley screw your psp up! I did mine a few days ago and had the same problem. Best way is to push the screw driver into the hole, then use pliers to turn it. Its slow, but it will unstick really tight screws, and eventually u will be able to undo it by hand. But be careful!

i've had these problems sometimes and i've also used the metod descibed above
if you're screws are just loose and won't come out, just give it a tiny shake or tug at the faceplate gently so the buttons come out
