problem with psp

I think i may have a loose connection or something,as when I try and turn my psp on it sometimes will turn on but sometimes doesnt but when it does a minute later the screen just goes black.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like an internal/electrial issue.

It kind of just suddenly happened and i have never taken my psp apart before but have had it unbricked, and is there any guides or anything that i could use for taking my psp apart and looking for the problem

Well then it MAY be something with the firmware. Try updating to a higher firmware, and then downgrading back down.

Or will the blackout cause the PSP to completely shut down?

no i just don't have time to do that, even in recovery mode, the screen just goes black after less than a minute, and i cant get it on at all now

Well, yeah, they'll update it.

If you DON'T want to send it to Sony, but you're willing to void your warranty, open your PSP and check for loose connections.
