Ok, here is a quick, basic description of what this program does.
When you upgrade to this modified version of the firmware, you can now have TWO game folders:
/psp/game
/psp/game150
^_^ Anything inside the game folder can be run as if you had Homebrew Enabler version C running, anything inside the game150 folder will run as if it was on a 1.50 homebrew system (the one with no security).
Long story short, both game folders show up under the game/memory stick option of the psp, so here is what it does in 4 steps:
1. No rebooting the psp or opening images or holding down buttons to begin using homebrew.
2. The Home button works on all homebrew, and since the firmware is 2.71 you still have the web browser, rss feed, etc.
3. You can swap from a 1.5 homebrew to a 2.71 homebrew program without having to hold down special buttons, without restarting, and with no real effort: just press home, choose the next game, and press x.
4. Thanks to some great programers (God bless Dark_Alex), you can now run 1.0, 1.5, and 2.71 homebrew on one firmware, no swaping or running odd programs. Even homebrew that cause problems can be converted into 1.0 and then converted to work on this new 2.71 se firmware.
I am using 1.5 and 1.0 emulators and such right now, and I am happy.
Here is a post I made that explains what to do step by step, and it gives links to other threads that might help:
