you are allowed to post links to update eboots as long as the files are untampered and in original form they are legal (and as long as the site linked to aint about piracy) shouldn't be any problems

I just went and read the entire guide, and found just one significant error -

There is no point in Step 6!

Since 2.71 SE requires no firmware dump to install, you don't need to make one.

Here's a new installer, that'll take you from 2.71 to SE. I can't get it from 2.XX to 2.71 as well, as the Generic Downgrader takes up the PSP/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP too.

step 6 can be used to make your 1.5 dump for devhook for when your at 2.71. true you could just rip a 1.5 firmware eboot, but if you've done custom modding then it keeps your own touches as well.

You should add a section about if you want to completely remove 2.71 SE-what ever and go back to regular 1.5. You should also put down which versions of X-Flash work with SE. Also talk about installing devhook, if it is the same as installing it on 1.5 then say that. I am considering upgrading to SE and so far this has been very helpful.

Yep, install the Generic Downgrader, and run it.

When downgrading do you need to remove the SE firmware?
