This is a bump, on behalf of theaceoffire, as he has not bumped it up. I am only doing this as his post has been updated, with SE-C details.
I've also made an easy install archive, ( get it here) containing the DATA.DXAR, and the flasher program, making it easier to install SE-C. |

| | | | Should I uninstall 2.71 SE B'' first, or install the new firmware first?
Thanks! |

Delete everything inside of SEPLUGINS, that fixed it for me.
Also, my thread now tells you how to update to 3.02 OE B, and how to convert your psx games to run on it. |

| | | | First of all thank you indeed for all that you all post here. I am a total noob with a PSP w/ vers 1.5 firmware and I'm following the excellent 3.02 OE-A instructions and have 2 items I need help with (probably some very dumb questions but I am very much the noob): Item #1- On step 6 it reads: Step 6.a Get a copy of the eboots to update the psp to 1.5 and 3.02, and rename them to : 150.PBP and 302.PBP.
Place them inside the folder (/psp/game/oeupdmaker) or (/psp/game150/oeupdmaker). Run the program.
This doesn't write to flash, it just makes a file called DATA.DXAR inside the folder (/psp/game/oeupdmaker) or (/psp/game150/oeupdmaker).
I downloaded, renamed and moved the 1.5 and 3.02 eboots to the correct folder. What program do I run in order to make DATA.DXAR? Item #2- Then further on step 6 it reads: Step 6.c Run the program "3.02 OE-A Firmware Install". DO NOT REBOOT, SHUT OFF, OR REMOVE MEMORY STICK. Please.
I downloaded the zipped 3.02 OE-A firmware and unzipped to the /psp/game/oeupdmaker folder. I have no idea how to run the "3.02 OE-A Firmware Install" program. First- where is it? Second- do I run it from PC or the PSP?
I'm probably missing something very simple here- thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me! |
