Perhaps I wasn't too detailed when talking about my ISOs: I finally got some UMD-rips - that I made out off MY OWN, PREOWNED GAMES - to work that didn't work earlier on Devhook or earlier OE-firmwares.
HOWEVER, it's true that I am borrowing a rip of Exit from a buddy, as he is borrowing a rip of Ridge Racer from me, but that's just the same as borrowing a UMD. It's not like we're distributing our games for the pirate-network, so uhm... How is what we do "illegal"? :P |

No illegal material such as ROMs, ISOs, copyrighted movies (warez, pirated movies, etc.), pornographic material, or UMD dumps of any kind are allowed to be discussed, even via the PM system.
that also means legal ISOs. i ont know, but i guess robert a. made the riles this way coz a lot of people are saying that they have dumped their own dumps, but they have not. and he don't wat this to be connected wih piracy in any way. sorry, but that's the rules... Quote:

How is what we do "illegal"? :P | not 100 sure abotu this, but sharing roms (ISOs) is illegal. no matter if you are friends or not. also, i think it would be extra illegal if you play it at the same time.

| | Junior Member | | Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Porto, Portugal Age: 21 | | I tried to downgrade it but in my recovery menu there's /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP and not UPDATE.PBP (as u can see in the picture).
After selecting the Run Program at (...) the screen goes black and after some time the PSP shuts down.
I even tried to change the file name back to EBOOT.PBP but without any luck. Any ideas?
I am downgrading from 3.40 OE-A cuz I can't read CSOs on it...

Points: 0.01 Donate | | | Make sure you put all the file needed in a folder called "RECOVERY" in the GAME folder and also put the FW in there also. Wat ever FW you trying to downgrade to that is. And rename the FW eboot to Update.PBP. Then go into recovery mode and click run program at.......... |
