Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I do believe the instructions to update to 3.10 oe a is included in this tutorial. again correct me if I'm wrong.
You can get the 3.40 oe updater here: http://psp3d.com/homepage-news/13974...-released.html.
Oh and the difference between an oe a and an oe a' is that oe a is a first version and the oe a' is a second versions with some tweaks to it.
If anyone sees anything wrong with the information I just gave please inform me. I think i did alright though.

currently running 3.10 oea on my 2 psp's (one for my wife )
i didnt do the mod myself i paid some guy off of craigslist to do it
as i make a shit ton of money and he gauranteed no bricking
he used a proggy called easy downgrader to take it from
3.03 to 1.5 then back up to 3.10 OE a
now my cousin and brother and sister all want there psp's moddded (running custom firmware)
and i have decided i dont feel like paying $180 to have them all done and i figure i can do them myself
i just so happen to have
unpatched copy of LCS
so my questions
are this
(for my and my wifes psp's )
what does 3.40 OEA offer that i dont currently have
if it was decided that i should upgrade to 3.40 what is the process and does having a t82 mobo change the process
for my familys systems
does a t82 Mobo matter
How do i upgrade the firmware once im on 1.5
lastly
what is XMB i have heard you can retheme your psp using it
and the psp icons suck
i thank you very much for any information you provide

For your family's PSP to upgrade from 1.5 to a custom firmware you just download the oe installer and follow the instructions giving. see this tutorial for more info.
I don't think the t82 mobo will effect either of them but I think this tutorial covers that too.
As for customizing the XMB, you can customize them up to 3.10 oe I believe. search the forums for more info on that though.
Again i hope I was of some help.

| | | | HEN not working... hey,
I have an older PSP (PSP-1000) which was originally on firmware version 2.00.
Following your guide i have updated to 2.80, added the HEN and downgrader files onto my 32mb memorystick (definately all in the right place) but when i go to photos and the hen folder the PSP freezes for a second then shuts off, doesnt flash any color at all. Trying to run the cube sample afterwards doesnt work and throws up an error message!??!
How can i downgrade to 1.50???
Thanks |

| | | | very helpful guide! answered all my questions on downgrading and upgrading my firmware.
My question tho is, do I really need an unpatched LCS? does it have to be LCS? I do however have a different UMD with a v2.00 update on it. can I use this instead? |

Its the actuall LCS game that contains the exploit which the downgrader depends apon to... downgrade lol. | |
