Thumbs down Cant do network gaming
My stepson has a psp that hasnt been flashed or anything its up to FW 2.6 but when he tries to set up a wireless game on outrun or star wars etc..against me on my psp fw 1,5 /2.71 he gets the message "Network initialization failed" so he cant create or join a game? Any ideas

It may be your WLAN switch or you might have to upgrade to 2.71-SE-B.

the wlan switch is definately on . and surely if 2.71 was required it would be on the outrun disc but it isnt. the upgrade on the disc is 2.6 also star wars battlefront 11 has been out longer than 2.71 i think! my psp creates wireless games no problems but i dont want to flash his psp back to 1.5 and homebrew because its not my psp

Try turning Wi-Fi lan power save off on both PSP's, and turn them both to Ad-Hoc channel 1.....

nope didnt make any difference it just says check wlan switch is on and retry and the wlan switch is on
