Tutorial with screenshots, Loading PSP games via USB using DevHook.

Beginners Guide

RUNNING LEGIT PSP GAME BACKUPS THROUGH A USB CABLE.

This tutorial will walk you through the step’s needed to install and run DevHook with USB mod. With this you can stream you’re legally backed up psp games through your PC via USB.
This will only work on 1.50, it may work on 2.71 SE-B"/B'/A but I can't confirm it. Any queries, ask below.

First of all, download this file. This includes every thing your PSP need’s to stream psp games via usb.
Extract the file, then copy the PSP folder to your PSP. This is DevHook 0.46 with 2.71 installed and a launcher 1.35 mod.
Exit USB mode, and plug your USB cable into your PSP and run DevHook.
Your computer should now see your PSP and need to install drivers for it.

PC PART.

Firstly download usbhostfs and driver from here.
After you have downloaded the file extract it, then go back to your PSP. Run DevHook and a window should pop up saying 'PSP Type B' New hardware found. To install the drivers, manually search for drivers in the folder usbhostfs_plus_PC_drivers (btw you must have administrator privileges)

Windows will install the drivers, and inform you once it’s done. Now go back into usbhostfs_plus_PC_drivers. Copy you’re psp games to the ISO folder.

Now run the usbhostfs app. Make sure your PSP is connected. It should now say connected to device.

PSP PART

Now in DevHook, go to [UMD Select] [usbhostfs0:/] [ISO] and select you’re psp games, while DevHook is loading, it will disconnect and reconnect a number of times, this is normal. In DevHook launch your psp games from the UMD icon, just like you normally would, (it will again reconnect and connect) and there you go, everything should work fine if you followed my instructions .

This tutorial was made for loading LEGIT psp game's, and was made from scratch.
I'm using Vista beta RC1, this will still work with XP.
psp game's, in referance to this tutorial, are leagal back up's of UMD disk's in .iso format.

Nice, but we can't talk about any ISOs here. Replace all the ISO references with 'stuff', it will be OK then.

Well, I see nothing wrong with it since you didnt condone piracy and you didnt like to anything. It should be good.

Even if you change the wording, I don't think we are alowed to talk about it.

But, for more info on iso's, go look in my sig .
