2.71 SE-C is it really "that" good?

Wats the whole module thing do, is it really that good? and if o, can someone list some here and wat they do.

iv updated to 2.71 SE-C from 2.71 SE-B1, i though that itwould let me load iso's without umd, even though i skiped 2 firmware's in between? if i want to have all features do i have to downgrade to 1.50 and go through all the steps?

I can't really answer the module question, as I don't really know enough about it yet, but I'll just explain the rest. 2.71 SE-C is basically SE-B" with module support - so you can go straight from 1.5 to 2.71 SE-C without going to any of the firmwares in between.

Think of it as like Windows - SE-A was Windows 2000, SE-B was XP, the updates in between are the service packs, and SE-C is Vista. Sorry if this bit confused you further - if it did, ignore it.

Hmm, it's in mine... Did you check the config in Recovery Mode? No-UMD mode might be off.

Go to Recovery mode by holding R at boot.

In the configuration menu, change the "No-UMD" setting to active.

Now they load off of the memstick, menaing less messing with the flash and a chance for potential brickage.
