PS: i used 2.71-se c while creating this tutroial, so some things may vary slightly
1.Download the 2.71se-[preferably c] installer which contains two applications. (271seflasher and seupdmaker)
2.Move them to ms0:/psp/game
3.Download the 1.50 and 2.71 update eboots. i use dl.qj.net but there are plenty of other places.
4.Rename the 1.50 eboot to 150.pbp and the 2.71 to 271.pbp
5.Place these files in the seupdmaker folder
6.run seupdmaker (2.71SE Update Maker) from the xmb on the psp
7.Once the update is finished being made reconnect the usb and move the DXAR file into the 271seflasher folder ***WARNING THE NEXT STEP WRITES TO THE PSP'S FLASH MEMORY, THIS COULD POTENTIALLY BRICK YOUR PSP***
8.Open the 271seflasher (2.71 SE-* Firmaware install) application and begin flashing the firmware to your psp, it will reboot and its done!!

- Specificly, how to switch the game folder to 1.5 homebrew by default (so if you are like me and upgraded from 1.5, everything works)
- Uninstallation/Re-installation from a "half-brick" from the recovery menu.
- How to use plugins
- Copying your devhook 2.xx flash 1 settings
As I said, you got the job done (I saw the request thread), now's your chance to make this a truely awsome tutorial. Who knows, might get stickyed by the mods.

If you want to use it, please give credit. It's basically an archive that contains the flashing folders, and the DATA.DXAR. You download it, drag and drop the two folders in the GAME folder in the archive to the PSP/GAME location on your MS, then run it. Three steps.
Download it here. |

But I'm still stickin' with good ol' 1.50. Main reason is because I can go on 2.82, and 2.71SE can't. (Officially) |
