Thanks all! No matter what scene you become a part of. Everyone is hard on noobz. I appreciate your responses. Can you help me with this question?
I downgraded to 1.5 from 2.71 worked fine. I installed this -http://psp3d.com/getting-started-hel...-tutorial.html ->everything worked fine. Then... I got greedy or maybe experimental and tried to install eboot
"Kriek" 0.9.9.5... That's when the problems started. Now Devhook just hangs instead of rebooting me into the selected firm ware. Is there a way to uninstall everything and start fresh form 1.5. I have tried reformatting my mem stick and installing anew, factory resetting my psp. still does the same thing. I may be missing a step. Sorry for the long post. THANKS

um, u dont need the eloader thing with 1.5 or 2.71 se-c, if ur still at 1.5 u should install 3.02 OE-A

Just came back to report that all is going well with Devhook v0.51, I love the ability to emulate 3.1 at any time. All of my back ups are running. Thanks to all who posted.

pspkillsds ->3.02 OE-A is my next step!! Now that I have the hang of it. I will read up on it this week and install. Thanks to all again who posted. My next Goal is to get a CPS2 emulator up and running. The Roms I am interested in our 2D Fighters, the SF 2's/Capcom vs Snk etc. Any direction would be apreciated however I will certainly search the web
