My First console since Super Nintendo!

Hello all, I left video games alone years ago. But now I'm back ! I just got my used PSP on Monday. After 3 days strait of scouring goggle I'm a little confused. Let me give you my specs and what I would like to achieve with my PSP . I would appreciate some good advice.

My PSP is running the stock 2.71 firmware strait from the factory. I do not have the (TA-082). I have a 1/2 gig mem stick (to start with)

I would like to:

1. Play ISO's-> Older gen 1.0-1.5 as well as the newest 1.5 up to 3.0 and above. (If possible)
2. Use Nintendo, Sega, Neo Geo emulators and roms etc.
3. Still have the ability to play newer games released in say the last 6 months.
I've become somewhat familiar with what's out there and understand that Dark_Alex and a few others are the leaders in the scene. (I am actually very impressed with the dedication of these geniuses).

I would prefer not to have to flash my psp. But I will if the benefits outweigh the risk. I have looked at Home-brew Enabler for 2.71 (Revision D) (devhook version also included). Although I would be open to one of Dark_Alex's custom firm wares, even if it requires flashing my psp. I can follow any well written tutorial. Its just that with all the revisions and such I don't know were to start. Please provide me with a little direction. THANKS

You dont need to flash for emulation and ISO loading if you dont want to. Just use Eloader .99 .

Hooray! I'm the man!

Anyway, with that out of the way, eLoader can't run ISOs nor any programs that can, but if you downgrade to 1.50 it's possible with Devhook. However, we can't really talk about using ISOs on this forum, so you could email me or PM me.
