my friend just got in town and he showed me that he got a psp, and luckily its a 2.60 (but its a ta-082) should i upgrade it to 2.71 and use eloader? and can the eloader run devhook?

p.s. YaY 777th post | Upgrade to 2.71, and use whatever the latest version of HEN is ('D,' I think). Show him how to use it, as it is conffuzzeling for first time people. HEN can run Devhook, so install devhook and the 1.5 and 3.02 F/W.

Don't mean to threadjack but I figure I'd post here instead of starting a new thread. I recently picked up a PSP w/ the 2.60FW and the TA-082 mobo. If I follow the same steps I should be able to play homebrew and ISOs? What about UMD, how does that work?? |

Points: 349.98 Donate | | | Yep, upgrade to 2.71 and then downgrade with the TA-082 downgrader. You can find all the necessary files in my installer thread (second link in my sig). You'll need the TA-082 downgrader installer and the HEN D installer. |

My Mood: | | Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Toronto, ON | | | I was able to upgrade to the 2.71FW. I installed the TA-082 Downgrader to my memory stick. Now I'm just wondering what to run first; the PSP Update ver X.YZ or the TA082 IdStorage Change?
After the downgrader do I just repeat the same steps for HEN D and Devhook?
