Exclamation HEEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!! MY PSP IS BROKEN

can any1 help me? my psp keeps coming up with the blue screen sayin currupt settings press circle etc.etc. but i press circle and it goes off then keeps coming back u can any1 shed light as to how i can fix it. it did this after i tried installing 3.0 custom firmaware btw. wb any1

A hard reset (remove the battery and replace it) might do the trick... but I think you may have had a bad flash and will need to initiate the recovery mode. I'm personally not too experienced with the custom firmwares, but maybe some other members could shed some light on this.

Angry already tried

hi thanx for the tip but it doesnt work i tried takingf the battery out like 10 times but it still keeps coming up i cart access the xmb menu. wen i take the battery out and boot it up with a game in the game runs its just the xmb menu so mi psp isnt bricked any1 else got any hints plzzzz desperate. p.s it wud av to appen on x mas day wen i got vice city stories and didnt even get chance to play it

Well your PSP is 100% not bricked; the "blue screen of death" for the PSP is just a simple corruption in the flash0. It's fixable. I would use the recovery mode...

hey gd idea but i dont now how to use this recover mose plus i didnt have custom firmware already installed so i cant access recover mode? correct me if im rong wb.

To load recovery mode turn the psp off and turn it back on holding R.

od u have a custom firmware?? lets first establish that. next is it 3.02 OE-A or B then if U do have a custom firmware then U can just set X-flash to boot as your startup program then u can just flash a new regrestry i cangive u that just pm me

right to begin with it statred off with 1.5 with a devhook 0.44 for 2.71 emulation then i tried instaling 3.0se beta or summat i got it from her>>>>Console Spot Forums and the BSOD keeps coming up no matter wat unless i load a game straight from boot up as i say i cant access the xmb menu
