Need help with my cursed TA-082 for running games from memory stick

Dear all,
I just bought a new PSP for Christmas, and i figured it's a TA-082 mobo. it's running fw 2.71. My friend passed my some games on DVDs that require 1.5 to run from memory stick. I read some places that if i try to downgrade a TA-082 to 1.5 it will brick.

Is there any way i can run these games with my PSP without bricking it?

Thanks in advance.

Nope. Homebrew + TA-082 (or TA-086) = Brick.

Unless someone chimes in correcting me...

Sorry 'bout that. You have to emulate 1.5 via Devhook, or you could try running them just using HEN D.

Thank you for the tip, is this a difficult process to run Devhook and HEND?
Also, does it run games smoothly (like a UMD) or does it crash sometimes?

Is there any chance of ruining my PSP with devhook and HEND?

How about if i am on a trip without access to my computer, is there a chance i might lose devhook or HEND if i run a game from a UMD?

Finally, i found this tutorial link on how to install devhook and HEND on TA-082 with 2.71, should i use it?

Thank you for everything my friend.

Just use DevHook v0.51.0100 launcher BETA by BOOSTER that has HEND support.
ZAiO_HEND-DH0510100 is the file.
You can find it in psp-hacks or psp-haxors.

You didn't chime in with a correction so....you fail...and I am not sure what TA-086 motherboards have but I just noticed a TA-082 2.71 downgrader came out. Picture checking time!
