Hey all! I thought I'd make a thread for my various installers, so here it is. Please feel free to request more, noobs in particular. At the moment I've only got three made and uploaded, but I have plans to make many more. However, here's a how-to on using these installers -
- Download the installer you want, and run it. Trust me, all are virus- and malware- free.
- Follow the onscreen instructions, until you are asked to input your PSP's root.
- Find the drive of your PSP, like J:/ or L:/, and put it in the box. Don't put in the MP_ROOT folder, that's not the root directory.
- Now finish the installer.

For 2.71

Devhook for 2.71
All you need to run 2.71 ISOs on 2.71, except HEN D.
HEN D
You need this to run any homebrew on 2.71 at all, including Devhook and the Generic Downgrader.
Generic Downgrader
This contains all the files (except HEN D) that you need to downgrade your NON-TA-082 PSP to 1.50, including the 1.5 update file.
TA-082 Downgrader
It's here! Everything you need to downgrade your 2.71 TA-082 PSP, minus HEN D (see above for installer) is in this package.

For 1.50 or custom firmware

Please note you will have to do this first if you're on 2.71 SE or 3.02 OE - - Turn off your PSP, and turn it back on again, holding R.
- Go into Configuration.
- Check what it says after 'Game folder homebrew', in the brackets. It should be '(1.50 Kernel)'.
- If it isn't, press X onn it and it will change to that.
Devhook 0.51.0100 with 3.02 files
As it says on the tin. This is legal as you need to run tommydanger's installer app (included) to dump the 3.02 flash files, which needs the 3.02 update (included).

and i did run the devhook installer on the psp itself also. In the read me it said just select the firmware u wanted to use and then start devhook, i tried 2.71 and 3.03 both led to crashing and needing to press O to reset the settings.
