| | | | noob firmware question, but revised Hey there
I have a PSP 1004 v2.01, i wanted to sell it, but i just looked around the net to see if it's worth keeping or not, ive been to alotta forums and learned alot about this particular version.
I just want it a bit revised, if you may...
I'd would like a version of a Firmware which runs Home brewed stuff and doesnt screw up!
For v1.5 I would need to upgrade the Firmware to either v2.5 or v2.6 and then downgrade it to v1.5 using some certain files / tools, is that correct?
For v2.6 I would just need to upgrade it to Firmware v2.6, thats correct?
Now, I just want to ask, which one of them is better, some forums said that v2.6 is better and here I read that v1.5 or the lower the version the better.
So please, anyone, do let me know!
much Appreciated and thank you! |

So v3.03oe-b wont mess up anything? I read people crying over the fact that they got a factory default v3.03 / upgrading it to v3.03! and v3.03oe-b supports Home brewing? |

Downgrade to 1.50, and update to 3.03 OE-A, then A', then B. That way, you will have the features of 3.03 (PS1 emulation, music visualisers, PS3 connectivity and the rest), along with the benefits of full homebrew, the ability to convert and compress ordinary PS1 ISOs for use on the hacked PS1 emulator, full homebrew, region-free UMDs, and a host of other features, such as recovery mode (brick protection) which is so important if you flash things to your PSP.
And no, you can run them straight from the Game menu.
