Points: 13.26 Donate | | Try going to whatismyip several times. If the number is NOT the same, you probably have a dynamic ip.

For an example, I have set up a small dirty server here: ftp://71.207.196.1:1234/
I put in copied of all the custom firmwares into one place, as well as the eboots from SONY to create them.
There are some other odds and ends (Legal, of course), like AutoPopstation4 and so forth. ^_^

Turn off firewall.
If it works, then you know the problem.
Also, you can try sticking in 127.0.0.1 for your ip to test it, since that points to your local machine.
And remember, the format is: ftp://name assword@ip ortnumber/

Points: 356.24 Donate | | | Damn. I don't have much control over my router - only my dad does, and I know he won't understand why I'd want to set up an ftp. Plus he wouldn't be too happy if I ate up all our bandwidth with people downloading. |
