yes, i use that when i'm at firefox, on my own computer. but my firefox is configured to use the proxy at my school, so i use safari when i'm home.
and i'm to lazy to edit the proxy settings everyday :P

If you have several proxies you need to use, try this:
FoxyProxy ~ Firefox Extension

It lets you manage multiple proxy settings, swap between them, even load a list of them from a text file (Like for anonymous proxies and so forth).

Just in case you were interested.
