Points: 10.46 Donate | | New Release! AFH Control Panel (For comps) ^_^ I made a bunch of stuff, and some things people just didn't care about.
But if your at ALL into your computer, you will like this one.
Ever hated going to the control panel? Fifty times? Doing one thing?
Felt like it took FOREVER for the control panel to show up?
Ever had to fix a computer swamped with spyware and adware, and tried to use the default control panel?
Allow me to introduce: AFH Control Panel (Away from home Control panel)
^_^ Unzip it anywhere. A floppy, cd, psp, ipod, anything that connects to a computer. And then you have your own, portable control panel!
Access all the stuff in control panel, plus LOTS more, all in a tiny portable package! Works on all XP computers (And some older ones~)
Someone who knows what a control panel is, let me hear what you think!

I'm also going to try and test it out on a government computer to see if I can access some of the features "the suites" locked out. I'll post the results later. |

Basically, it has:
AVG ~ Antivirus

RegScrub ~ Clean registry
Startup Control Panel ~ Change what starts with your computer
And my AFH Control Panel ~ Access Control Panel Items from a folder. |

I use those two tools more than anything to get rid of nasty bugz!

^_^ I think those files are the bare necessity:
Remove spyware/adware/trogens, etc,
Remove Viruses
Fix registry holes left by above two.
O.o I mean, you can disable services using msconfig (In my AFH control panel), you can stop startup programs and so forth...
Once nothing is starting except window's services, you delete all the virus files or replace/rename them, and then boot as normal using regscrub to fix the now flawed registry paths.
I will look into it though. | |
