| | | | FF7 disc change hey. while i was tryin to amke a decent eboot of ff7 for my psp i made a load of save games on each different one. thing is whenever i loaded a different eboot that i had made, i couldn't see the saves from the old one. soooo i was wondering.....what happens when i change disk? surely i wont be able to see the save again? and if thats the case i was wondering if someone could help me solve the problem? thanks in advance  |

Points: 1.82 Donate | | | You should see the save game. I can't tell you how do you change CD's because the FF7 i'm playing is the the PC version.
But if it is the same as FF9 (which I play in my PSP), before the message is saying to change the cd, there is a messange asking if you want to save the game. I save and then standby the psp. takeout the MS and substitute the eboot for the new one.
Then I turn on the psp and it accepts. |

| | | ah yea never thought of that. nice one lol, saves me some panic. tryin to go for a perfect game and spent 14 hours on it so far and i've only just got out of kalm and just before goin throught the marshes. wouldnt wanna get to disc 2 and find that it wont read my save game lol.
EDIT: just thougt, how do you substitute the eboot? cos like, surely to open the usb you have to quit the game?

Yes, this works fine for games without saving, but if you WANT your games to remember the saved games from previous disks,
Just make the eboot with the same game code as disk one.
That way, all future disks can see save from first disk. |
