Internet Disconnects when PSP Connects

I don't know if this is an old and resolved problem, but my PC's wireless BT internet connection always disconnects, as soon as I connect and then disconnect my PSP to it via USB 2.0. Does anyone know why this may be?

does your computer connect to your wireless with a USB wireless adapter? if it does your psp may be cutting out your usb devices briefely.

That's what I was thinking, but does BT mean Bluetooth in this case? I guess there's really no way to fix that, but try to do some Wi-Fi file transfer between your PC and PSP. Maybe use iR Shell or something.

I'm using a wireless adaptor, so I guess you're right. I'll use iR shell.

BT stands for british Telecoms, i think, and is a company that does many things like phone, internet and that stuff

my psp also disconnects my wireless aswell, i used to plug my psp into a USB 1.0 port as i have a adapter but since i plugged it into a usb 2.0 slot it knocks my connection off, strange.

That's really weird, I've never seen a PSP do that to any PC. Hm.
