Help me with my usb problem :P

Yo there,

Ok well today i jus go 2 plug in my usb and connect 2 my PC and
it says " connect usb cable" when the usb is already plugged in

and now i have 2 fiddle around with it for about 45 minutes getting it to stay in USB Mode

anyone help me?

You need to have the drivers installed. I don't know if you are using xp or not but there should be a way to get them even without xp's driver search. try google searching for psp usb drivers, I'm sure that something will come up.

Sounds like a broken USB cable. It wouldn't turn off USB if Windows didn't have the drivers; it only ever halts the connection because of user abortion or the link being broken.

Try a new USB cable, a different USB port (or even PC), or you'll need to get the PSP's USB slot fixed.

i had the same one off the cables inside the usb cable has snapped, there only a couple of quid. with my last broken usb cable i infused it with my xbox controller to give me a pc controller and xbox controller in 1
