Copy Protected PSX games?

Howdy, been trying to convert games like FF8 and 9 for a while to play on POPS but they seem to hav a copy protection on them. the only way i can get them to ork is by using a PPF which has a trainer on it.. but even then it just crashes after a certain point. was just wondering if anyone knew how to get games like these backed up from your original disks?

The Autopopstation4 iso creator doeesnt seem to do the job, tried alcohol it created a mdf file.. tried converting that but then a PS logo didnt even appear (with both games i usually get a PS logo appearsing then a blnk screen.. i can still access them menu's using the home button etc) also tried CloneCD but that created a seperate sub file.. wasnt sure how to get popstation to see the subfile as well as the image..

I have got other games working right off the bat like Gran Turismo. i know these games work others have reported them as working.. though i assume they are probarbly NSTC if anyone has any suggestions on how i can create fully functional copy's of these disks i'd be most grateful. from what ive read around this site it seems some recorders dont copy the md5 files i could be wrong though ^.^

Thanks in advance
-Dragona

I use ISO Producer to rip my games. Works like a charm.

I use the same as Michael. Though it doesn't like scratched disks much (when tried with another app, worked).

Is anyone else having trouble loading the site?
