Is it ok to use devhook with 3.03 oe c? It talks about flashing my psp and i dont know if that is good. I am trying to run a .cso and i believe that 3.03 oe c cant run this particular one. Thanks!

Devhook makes no changes to your PSP, it's just an app. It has an option to flash files to your PSP, however this is neither necessary nor recommended.

and if you screw up, you could always use the recoverymenu if you're on OE firmware

which version of devhook? 0.46 could flash the main firmware files to flash0 to speed up devhook as flash0\1 has a lot higher access speed, BUT this is only for firmware 1.50 as it was designed for 1.50 as it has more flash0 space.
and 0.5x can utilize the flash1 as the devhooks flash1 for the registry files but for what its worth your best off running everything from memstick, as last time i used 0.50 it corrupted my flash1 everytime and i had to reset the settings.

can i get dev hook on my version of psp its 3.03 if i can't tell me what to do to get it on please

3.03 OE-C? or just 3.03? If the latter than no, you must downgrade first.
EDIT: This is a very detailed guide. [LINK] Oh and before you ask, no you cannot downgrade without GTA LCS and yes it must be an unpatched copy (i.e It contains the 2.00 update)

Guys, I know you want to help freebeer211, but after you help him install custom firmware, he's just going to go around using pirated games; your actions are implying that you are alright with it, and even though some of us may use pirated games but do not discuss it, freeberr211 has clearly stated that pirating are his intentions.

how can you do this i haven't got a clue can you give me some instructions and tell me what i need to download cause i have recently downloaded 3 games for the psp but they do not work. another thing i would like to know i can you have dev hook on a 3.03 oe-c psp version.

If, by '3 games', you mean 3 illegal pirated versions of UMD games (ISO/CSO/DAX/JSO formats) we cannot help you, however if you mean homebrew or demos we can; please say so if they are.

And, as said in this thread, you can use Devhook with 3.03 OE-C.
