Recovery mode...advance

Hey i dont understand what the advance configuration for the custom firmwares. i do know, of course, the the flash0 and 1 usb but not the "advance thing" above the usb flash or below "back". i just dont know what it is use for, but i really just want to know what it is. like what is it use for. there are three option that you can enable or disable.

thanks.

the advanced options are plain loading prx's to allow mp3, cwcheat etc modules in game-play use boot.bin to use boot.bin instead of eboot.bin when booting a game and no-umd mode to allow usage of a game with no-umd inserted which doesn't work to well.
the only option to enable would be plain prx's modules if you want custom module loading.

The advanced menu is very useful, it allows you to acess your psp's flash0:/ (a 32 mb NAND chip that stores the PSP's operating system) to modify your PSP, as well as flash1:/ acess to edit your background and stuff.

Gun, you've got it wrong. Flash0, isn't a chip, it's a partition of a 32mb NAND chip. Flash0 only takes up about 2/3 of the space...

Yep, PJ hit it dead on. It's only a section of the NAND, which is one of the reasons why we can copy MP3's onto the chip.
