Ok, I just bought my psp 2 days ago, and it started as 2.6 fw, and a ta-082. Well, before I knew any of this stuff, I upgraded to 2.81 so I could play metal gear solid. Now I don't really know what to do. I searched everywhere, and I don't really want to go out and rent/buy a used gta: lcs but if I have to, I will. I want to play all the old school games (NES, SNES,n64), and watch my own ripped dvds. I don't need anything more. It'd be much appreciated if someone could give me some advice. Thanks in advance. |

Points: 2.74 Donate | | Theirs no individual 2.81 downgrader (I dont think so anyway) so your going to have to upgrade to 3.03 and downgrade (Be very careful, read the instructions) with this. It will automatically rewrite the idstorage of your ta-082. But you will need GTA to do it... That will get you down to 1.50, from there, upgrade to 3.03 OE-C, with this.
Now put these folders on your psp's memory stick: (psp's drive letter)/PSP/GAME150= 1.50 homebrew (e.g have two eboots, one with a % sign
(psp's drive letter)/PSP/GAME= 1.00 Homebrew (e.g) only one eboot.

Points: 2.74 Donate | | I live in Australia and I'm not quite sure why, but you cant rent PSP games. This should tell you how to find a unpatched GTA. I know from memory, the unpatched GTA has a gun on the umd. | |
