xmb and game speed question.

ok on the psp recovery mode, what does the xmb speed use for because i have change to all of the speed and seem that they are all the same. how does that speed help.

with the game speed, does it applies with pops games as well?

It makes everything slightly faster. You may notice a difference in some games and homebrew.

when changing xmb speeds it can affect the audio and video when playing, one good use is when using the picture viewer you dont need it running at 222mhz you could slow it down but on the other hand if you want to use the mp3player module from irshell and view pictures you could do with speeding up to keep it glitch free.

p.s. the ps1 emu may not be over-clockable or it may be under the class of "game" mode. either way you may be best off under/overclocking using the mp3player as it can be changed on-the-fly.

Yea wat they said is pretty much wat it is used for. But when using HB emus like GBA or SNES they run better when it is overclocked to 333 Mhz for some reason. And also when using the overclock at 333 Mhz it drains ur battery quicker and also for some games/HB u can't use the WiFi when it is overclocked at 333 Mhz.

Don't forget, the faster the CPU is working, the more consumption of battery power. The only significant difference of boosting the CPU speed is a faster slide-show in the photo menu...I wouldn't alter the speed of the CPU unnecessarily; But that's just my view on the subject.
