I think in the US not sure though.... I heard it is only 3.03 on it. Unless your PSP needed repair then it gets updated to 3.30. But I am sure if you goto a little known place that sells PSPs like Sears or something so I heard....

You'll find one or lower.

Huh? Interesting statement Gamer. I never thought of that. I wish though I kne that earlier. I would hav had an easier time downgrading and then updating. But o well! At least I hav a custom FW on my PSP!

As far as I know all PSPs are packaged with 3.03 firmware at the moment, so there is nothing to worry about because you can downgrade that. And if you buy a japaneese psp, you can convert the buttons to the US standard with recovery mode in Dark_AleX OE custom firmware.

Just buy a 3.03 PSP. Downgrade it to 1.50. Upgrade it to 3.40 OE a.

Google for tutorials to find out how to downgrade and use D_A firmware...
