i'd recommend the latest version 3.40oe-a and yes as with all flashing there is a possibility of the psp bricking but the chances are low as long as you follow the read-me to the letter

You would be suprised how easy it is to Google tutorials for learning the basics of installing Dark_AleX firmware and installing games/homebrew and such. Instead of making threads to ask simple questions like that, Look around, and also check out the 'Getting Started' section of the forum.

Look for a 2.71 downgrade (Which will make your firmware 1.50).
Then install Dark_AleX 3.40 OE a firmware (Easy installer)
Your all done. No more questions of piracy on PSP3D; I doubtt you'll stop, so just google the rest from there...

I preferr to use 3.03 OE-C for to run isos straight from XMB b/c I noticed that the compactiblity on 3.40 OE-A is very limited right now. But hopefully soon we'll get an update from DA saying he fixed some games' probs. Plus, also it i easier to customize w/out any glitches or anythin.
