Points: 30.04 Donate | | | Try mounting flash0 trough USB on a computer via the recovery menu (hold 'R' as the PSP is booting up) if your bro's PSP was using a custom firmware. From there, get a copy of vshmain.prx and just replace the old one.
If that doesn't work or is not possible, you need to make and use a Pandora PSP battery with a good homebrew PSP. From there, you can re-flash the entire PSP. I am not familiar with this process, but many on this site can help you out. This should fix your problem if the other way doesn't work.

Points: 356.24 Donate | | | And if you have to use the Pandora, a great way to go about it is by using the Pandora's GUI, which sets up the MS ready to be used by the homebrew capable PSP, which turns the battery into a Pandora's battery. The Pandora's battery can be used for the unbricking process as well as downgrading any PSP to 1.50. |
