hey people
i bought the psp and it has the 3.11 firmware as i noticed there is no downgrader yet so im gonna return it and buy it in ebgames.
Does ebgames have 2.70 or earlier firmware? I know they have used ones and they are cheap

And you should try getting a used one. Usually they are a downgradable firmware. |

Second, you'll be taking a bit of a gamble at EB Games if you don't know what you're doing. Search for a PSP box letter guide. Each barcode area has a letter on it, which determines its firmware. Look for one preferrably 2.80 or below. |

I need the 1.50 version.
How do I ask them in ebgames to give me the exact thing, number?
Once i get 1.50 could I upgrade to 3.40 custom firmware?
Could you pls tell me?

Points: 100,000,000,000.01 Donate | | There's a guide here on the site about that. You can supposedly tell what firmware a PSP is by a certain letter on the box. Hold on i'll try to find it but I fear 1.5 is going to be hard to find because it's an early version. You're better off getting a used PSP or trying to get one below 3.10 and downgrade it. If it 3.03 you'll need an old copy of GTALCS to downgrade it because that's where the exploit is.

if i get psp 3.03
where do i get GTALCS?
well there is someone that can do it for me if they have time i could downgraded not correctly and then the errors would popup hehe
I dunno how to downgrade even?
I might buy the psp next month
cause i can't drive a car
Downgrade guide be nice from 3.03 or if i find 1.50 upgrade guide 2 3.40 i still need the upgrade guide anyways hehe |

Points: 100,000,000,000.01 Donate | | | Ok you need an old copy of LCS that has the 2.0 update because the newer released games $ony blocked the exploit that allows downgrading so check ebay or ask someone who got the game right after it came out.
There are tutorials here on the site of how to downgrade safely. Just follow them and you'll be fine.
