You'll know it's the game with the 2.0 update when you put it into your psp and the update icon shows up. if it says 2.0 you can use it to downgrade but if it says 2.6 you can't use it for the downgrader. I don't think there is any way to tell without putting the game into your psp. someone correct me if I'm wrong. There is a possibility that you'll get the right version renting from a store and yes this will work on a ta-82.

There is a way - if the UMD has a picture of a gun on it and the background of the UMD is brown, it probably won't work, while if it just says Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, with the rating on a black background, chances are it will work.
