I can't believe I can't do this. Either irShell is impossible in 3.40 OE or I have been demoted to noob status.

I recently upgraded to 3.40 OE and I can't launch irShell. I have tried changing the kernal to 1.50, using both the 1.00 and 1.50 eboots, putting them in GAME, GAME150, GAME340 etc.

Now it is irShell 3.1, and it was previously working on my 3.03 OE-A. What do I do? Somebody that does have it working please tell me exactly what folder, which eboot you used, and what kernal you are using.

I started looking at some weird PRX launchers but I'm not sure that's what I need. Also, looking at other forums, I can see it is possible to run it.

If not I might go back to 3.03 OE. I need my irShell.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, same problem here. If iR Shell is that important, then it would be a good idea to go back to 3.03 OE-C or use Devhook 0.46 to run 1.50 from the MS.

It works. Believe me, before I donwgraded to 1.5 it worked nicely. Something must be happening. I took time too to understand what I was doing wrong. But it was all because of the kernels... At least I think that was the cause. check again.

EDIT: I used the GAME folder, but don't ask which kernel I used. Try both them. And I used the 2.71 version of IRShell.

Ok I figured this out. DorkDork you might wanna try this. Put the irshell150, irshell150% and irshell271 folders inside the GAME150, and change the kernal to 1.50.

Then launch the irshell with the Blue Icon.

Yep, that was the problem. I updated to 3.40 OE-A, but because most of my homebrew is in the GAME150 folder (which is always for 1.50 homebrew, no matter what the GAME folder is set to) I forgot to put the GAME folder (which iR Shell is in) to 1.50 kernel.
