Question ok i need some help (not a n00b)

ok ive been in the homebrew scene for a while now but i sold my psp 1.5 for 300 and i bought a wii, sonow with me having practice and all and always being on the road i wanna buy another 1. My little brother has a perfect condition psp (wit screen protector) but the downfall is its firmware 3.30, which sucks, so is there a way i can downgrade, and ill use it for homebrew, but ill mostly use it for multimedia so should i jus leave it the way it is, cuz 1.5 doesnt play wma, and crap like that, so can i emulate a higher firmware and then use all my music and stuff, plus have homebrew???

thanks in advance!!!

ok, to downgrade, you either need Lumanes (the game), or a patched battery called a Pandora battery (requires you to have a hombrew compatible psp). and once you downgrade, you update to a custom firmware (ex. 3.52 M33) and use homebrew and have the newer features like wma capabilities.

He means the Pandora. You need to make the Pandora battery and Magic Memory Stick with a homebrew-capable PSP (firmware 1.50 or custom firmware). By 'make', I don't mean a magic battery and memory stick will appear in the PSP after running a special app (though that would be cool); the app will transform a battery into a Pandora and a Memory Stick into a Magic one. Then you can use them to downgrade.

But unless you have a homebrew-capable PSP handy, it would probably be better to buy an older copy of Lumines.

Yes, the Pandora battery is compatible with the TA-082. (If I'm wrong, please correct me, but I'm almost certain about that model.)

Yep, I'm also pretty sure it works fine for both TA-082/086 PSPs and others too.
