NOBODY has had this semi-brick problem

2 days ago, i was on CFW 3.52 M33-4 and i wanted to go back to CFW 3.52 M33-1( the original) because some of my plugins were not workin on M33-4.. so i reflashed my psp by using the same files i used to originally install CFW 3.52 M33 . i figured i was not downgrading to a different CFW so i just install the 3.52 m33 the normal way.
ok thats when the problem started.. after the install,i played killzone for a bit until i was tired and turned my psp off. laater,i turned it on to see that i only get the black screen.. the psp was on,the game would start up and the memory card would flash but it stayed on black screen so i figured it was semi-bricked since i could still get to recovery mode.
ok i download recovery folder and now i have another problem.. when i click "Run program at psp/game/recovery" the psp FREEZES and i have to restart it. so basically i can press any button in the recovery mode except "Run program at psp/game/recovery" bcuz the psp will freeze.. the screen does not go black.. the memory card will not flash.. nothing happens lol it just sits there
ok i let the psp sit for an hour.. i turn it back on and WTF IT WORKS.... it turns on and goes to xmb and everything works perfect. so im like wtf is going on?? everything is basically running smoothly as possible.. i watch a few of my videos and i turn the psp off thinking everything is cool..
i wake up in the morning to play castlevaniva and i try to turn the psp on but its semi-bricked again LOL wtf is going on??? so i turn it on and off for about 3 hours and it comes on again.. i figure everything is ok.. i play castlevania.. i turn the psp off again.. then i turn it back on and it works perfect fore the rest of the day...
the next day,i turn it on and its semi-bricked again LOL.. so basically, everytime i turn my psp off, theres about a 50 percent chance that it will not come back on again and it will just stay at the black screen... the recovery mode works but i cant click "run program at psp/game/recovery" or it will freeze... please tell me how to fix this??
my psp is currently on and working fine but im afraid to turn it off

You could try using the universal downgrader.

Well, something like that happened to me before, but involved no flash. I played a NBA 07 demo disk I got in the mail and it worked fine, but like 30 minets after I turned the psp off, I turned it on again and it scewed up and didn't start black screen. So I tryed again and it did the same thing, then I tried again and it worked. Never had that problem again, but I've never relly played that demo disk again either...

I had something like this happen when I was using 3.40 OE. Try auto booting your recovery program. I think it is under the "Configuration" option in the Recovery menu. If that doesn't work, try removing your memory stick while booting. And if that doesn't work try using the Pandora Battery to return to 1.50. For a tutorial on that check the Downgrade Tutorial in my signature.

Please post your results!

Look, if no-one else has had it, and it's happening randomly, you're going to have to come to terms with the possibility that it's not your firmware.

Consider these options for starters:
- NAND errors (Not really fixable)
- File system corruptions (Fixable on the MS, more difficult on the NAND)
- Damaged memory (Not really fixable)
- Power supply faults (Not really fixable)
- iDstorage misconfiguration (Fixable in some situations)
- Flash1 [registry] corruption/incompatability (Fixable with flash1 format)

If it's not one of those or something similar, perhaps you're just doing something completely wrong, or there's some other software problem.

I'd make a pandora memstick and battery (can be made back to normal) and use it to downgrade to 1.50 so it formats your memory and restarts you form scratch, dump a copy of your idstorage for safety and maybe your entire nand. then from there reupgrade to which ever firmware you wish (make new update eboots to avoid corruption.)
