Whats going on! I just got my psp moded not to long ago and been really getting in to!! But I have been wondering if there was a way to hook a external harddrive up to it and use that! I found a movie on youtube about it but he took out the umd port and put it in there! For transporting I guess Anyways I was wondering if there was a way I can hook up the usb but instead of staying in the usb mode can I browse the hard drive and play games straight off of it? I dont know been trying to figure out how!! Hope to get some feed back one B............................

Sorry, I don't think it's possible without an outstanding knowledge of the PSP's hardware and the ability to write an app for it (possibly including writing a driver). Basically, unless you work for Sony, it's not gonna happen. Sorry.

However, using USBHostFS, it is possible to hook your PSP up to your computer via USB and play games off your computer's harddrive - but the computer must be on. It's also possible to stream them over a wireless connection, but this is very difficult - I've never got it working myself.
