Slim PSP from 3.71 to 3.80m33
Is it possible to upgrade to 3.80m33 straight from the stock 3.71 if I copy over the 3.80m33 update files and run them? without the need for any additionaly hardware (battery, magic stick)?

Or do I have to have a pandora battery an downgrade before I can upgrade?

All firmwares 3.51 and above require a Pandora and magic Memory Stick to get to custom firmware. Sorry.

But when you do get a Pandora, use Despertar Cementario v3, as that gets your PSP directly to 3.71 M33, whereas the standard one would downgrade it to 1.50, causing it to brick as Slims can't handle 1.50.
