First off, I'm not asking HOW to do these things, because this board is already filled with tutorials. I just don't know where to get started and what order I should do things in.

I've got my hands on a version 2.5 or 2.6 psp (not sure atm, a new screen is on the way, got this for free). I downloaded a version 2.71 update, and the easy 2.71->1.5 downgrader. As far as I know this isn't going to require any GTA or other games. From here, I'm kinda lost. I know I should get custom firmware, but there's just so much out there, I have no clue where to get started. Just a list of things I should do would help me greatly. Thank you in advance.

Update to 3.52 M33
Then to 3.52 M33-4
Then upgrade to 3.90 M33
And finally upgrade to 3.90 M33-2

I'm probably going to play some ps1 games on it, what about multi disc games?

You know I'm not to sure on that. Just make sure they are your own games and if they are downloaded ones please do not ask about them here. Any way you can play PS1 games through the M33 firmware.

the popsloader for 3.80 has multi-disc support

Do you have a link to popsloader? And I actually read the rules, I know no talking about piracy here. Tying to get all the stuff I need for my psp now so after I fix it I can get started on it right away.
