| | | | Just got TA-082 PSP with 1.5. Safe to upgrade to M33? Hi. I just got a PSP phat with TA-082 that came with the 1.5 firmware. Can I upgrade it to the latest 3.90-m33-2 firmware? OR should I keep it at 1.5? Any performance advantages between either firmware? (I'm actually a noob to all this until yesterday when I started reading up on it. But this is based on my assumption that since I'm running 1.5, I don't have to worry about downgrading or anything like that and I can just install custom m33 firmware on top of it, right?)
And are there any issues with running homebrew apps on a PSP with TA-082 motherboard (other than not being able to downgrade past a certain firmware, which I guess doesn't apply to me since I already have 1.5)?
Thanks! |

- go to 3.51 m33
- update to 3.51m33-3
- go to 3.80 m33
- update to 3.90 m33-4 via network update
it'd also be a good idea to add the 1.50 addon once you get to 3.90 m33

| | | | Thanks! Could I also do this to get there?:
Upgrade first to 3.52M33, and then install Update #4.
Then, Install 3.90M33, then Update #2, and then the 1.5 kernel patch V2. |
