My Mood: | | | | | I'm new to this whole PSP hacking thing, help please. (Seeking GBA emulator for PSP) Hey everyone. I've had my PSP for quite some time, and today I found it after having lost it about a month ago. I'm not really interested in the PSP's game library anymore and I really don't care much for the system, so I think I want to "hack" it. I've never done this before and my PSP is on the latest version (5. something). I have a few questions.
1.) My laptop is broken, and the only thing I have right now is a Mac running Tiger. Will I still be able to get some sort of applications for my PSP, or do I need Windows to be able to download everything?
2.) What will I need? I only have a USB cable and a 1 gig memory stick right now.
3.) Do GBA emulators for PSP work well? I think I'll just not do this if I'm going to get a bunch of lag. I'm hoping for something similar to VBA.
Thanks in advance. |

1.)I'm pretty sure you need windows because you need to make a magic memory stick. More about that in a bit
2.)You'll need that but you'll also need access to a PSP that can alreday runs homebrew or a converter to convert your battery into a Pandora's battery so you can hack your PSP. That's the only way right now since you're on the current firmware version. You can use that memory stick that you have to make a magic memory stick which works with a Pandora's battery to hack your PSP.
3.) Read and try This

My friend actually told me about a Pandora's battery, haha. I'll probably get help from him to convert my battery and memory stick. Thanks again. |
