...Then there's no way to downgrade? By official Sony firmware is V5.5, so have I wasted my time coming here? |

1. it is entirely possible to downgrade a "phat" psps with a pandora battery/mms combo.
2. Only some 2000 series (slim) models can be cfw'ed/HEN by way of a pandora battery/mms combo
3. currently no 3000 series (brite) models can be cfw'ed/HEN

what region are you (what country do you reside?)?
find the motherboard checker program, might be on DA's website or noobz to find the exact motherboard
we go from there...

check darkalex.org (something like that) or noobz.eu i think you should be able to find the motherboard tattler on there,
after that you may just need to find a pandora battery, (can be ordered or borrowed) and make/borrow a magic memstick......
btw do you have any other psp playing friends??

I do have one friend who has a PSP, but first of all he broke its screen, and secondly the games I'd mainly play with him are Final Fantasy Tactics and Dissidia, and he hates the FF saga with a passion.
That's why I hope to get XLink Kai and play online instead. |

Points: 4,019.67 Donate | | | usually you can find a Pandora battery under 20USD.. as far as the magic memorystick, you probably already have a memstick you can use (512mb to 2gb in size). there is a program to make a mms.....
much less if you poke around the internet you might be surprised to find some one in your area willing to "pandorize" your psp for free, you just have to set up a meeting.....
