I had a little trouble when I downgraded getting my ripped ISO's working, and after a long round of googling, this is what I came up with:
There is no right way to load every ISO, each tends to have its own procedure to maximise performance.
To help you understand, here is a table I found of all ISO's, their status and the ideal way to load them.

You will need to download the programs listed at the top and install them as listed. Im not going to tell you how, there are plenty of installation instructions for them.

i really want to play locoroco on 1.5 but have no idea how to run it. i have compressed it to dax format though so it can fit on my memory stick. can anybody help me get it to load

If locoroco is not on the table, try a search, I saw somebody had it working in devhook I think.

It doesn't run with dax only DevHook. Use my DevHook setup guide (the link is in my sig). Is the version of locoroco you downloaded the retail version or press release?
