1.50, Isos, & Bricking Questions

I've searched but found vauge answers. (1) I'm at 2.00 right now from the dg(so glad that happened), and am wondering if I dg to 1.50 the MPH method, can I brick my psp just running emus or other eboots from the XMB? cause sometimes they would freeze up in eloader, if it did that in 1.5, could it brick? and I would exit eboots just using the home button right? any risk there? (2) I've tried searching for info about umd rippers (for backup of course) iso loading, and fw emulation, are doing these things easy enough to bother dg for? can i even fit a whole game on my 1gb card? and any risk of bricking doing this stuff as well? all in all, i just want to know if it's worth dg to 1.5 or just using the loader with 2.0. any info with links to easy, up to date programs would be useful. thanks.

1- u cant brick using any emu at all
2- SOME ISO LOADERS USE THE FLASH AND IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT SOMETIMES IT DOES BRICK!!! BE SURE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE ISO IS COPATABLE WITH THE PROGRAM THAT YOU ARE USING FIRST!!!!!

is there an easy guide to tell which isos work with what program? and would an iso fit on a 1gb stick? and is it relatively easy to load isos? what else is pro for 1.5 vs 2.0 other than isos? because if i did dg, i would have to use devhook or whatever to play gta and starwars. is that as much hassel as loading up gta to play homebrew. cause if it is and there aren't enough pros than i'll just stay at 2.00.

1) No, emulators won't brick ur psp at their current state
2) About the size of a game use this chart: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1..._size_list.png
UMDs can also be dumped in parts (ex: when ur card is full, move it w/ usb to ur pc and continue OR use a UMD ripper that sends it to ur pc wirelessly)
Then once the UMD is dumped, u can use tools called "rip-kits" to make the iso smaller by removing dummy (useless files, which are only needed for UMDS not isos thru the MS) or music/movies...

And about bricking, as long as u dont update through an iso's update, u should be good

And for loaders to load ur dumped isos, look for devhook 0.42a, there should be ready made packages on other sites or PM sum1 smart

Question okay, okay

i'm starting to get it a little more but still a little confused. 1. are the sizes in that pic from http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1..._size_list.png the sizes of the initial rip, or after removing the dummy files and futhering compressing? 2. what program would i use to rip the umd and what program would i use to shrink it. 3. I keep hearing about patches and fixes, and iso compatability with certain programs. i've tried searching for how devhook works and how to dump the fw with certain files or patches or whatever but am still confused. if someone could write up an everything you need to know about iso ripping, and emulating with all programs with links to download them and anything else i need to know. 1.5 seems really great once i could learn how to work with it. thanks a lot. p.s. or if someone who knows about all this stuff wants to pm me and be my friend and help me out personally, that would be great too. and to previous comment. what do you mean update from the iso? like the iso on the umd, like an umd update, or just iso from ms update?

You said in your first post that e-loader freezes on 1.50 PSP's. That should happen since GTA isn't meant to run on 1.50's.
