hi i have a EU psp and a EU Gta LCS so do you think it will work ?
else do you think i could update my EU psp with a US 2.6 firmware and where can i found it because sony does not provide it anymore for download? (and the 1.50 dump also ???)

HI,

I have used the downgrader and my 2.6 is now a 2.0 which is cool. but i need to downgrade to a 1.5 now. I think i have to run the version changer through the eloader, but i cant run GTA:LCS after the downgrade to 2.0, so i cant boot the eloader up. please can someone advise

if u used the downgrader on 2.6 u would have a 1.5 cos their is not a 2.6 to 2.0 downgrader

If you ran the 2.5/2.6 downgrader, your PSP is now a 1.50, regardless of which firmware version it shows. The person who made the dump likely used a 1.50 version changer to make it display 2.00. If there's no web browser icon, it's 1.50.

Hello everyone,

I am very new to the psp. I have an Xbox that I have had for about two years that has been moded. I got my daughter a psp for her birth day in July. She really wants to play some of the old rom that I have on my Xbox. But she updated it to a 2.8.

Is there anything that can be done with it at this point? I have tried GTA but have not had any luck yet??

nope, youre screwed if you have 2.8 right now...

but there was an exploit found recently that might let homebrew run on 2.7-2.8

Where can i go to read about the exploit? Or Is there a set was to get the exploit working that is all that I am realy needing. I have some old nes roms that i would like to use.

Has anyone's PSP broke on them when they did this downgrading? I will be purchasing a PSP in the next few days and I will be looking to downgrade the Firmware to a 1.5 so I can run the homebrew games.

All I am asking is has anyone's PSP broke when they did these downgrades.

i think the only people that bricked their psp with that downgrader are people who tried it and they had the ta-082 motherboard, but im now 100% certain those are the only people, only the ones ive heard of

ive done that downgrade fine with no problems, my psp is bricked for a different reason.... but i almost have enough money for the modchip!!
