Points: 41.54 Donate | | | Increasing potential memory of F/w emulation I like the flash player on 2.71, but feel it would have more potential if you were not limited in memory. It is my understanding that the game is loaded to a flash memory when played. I think that devhook should allow the option for 'virtual RAM', so your 1gb stick potentially creates 1gb ram! |

Points: 215.28 Donate | | | The possibility of virtual memory was looked into before. If it was made to work, which would be indescribebly difficult, it would monstrously slow.
The memory stick's Read/Write speeds are just too low to allow such an undertaking.
There is a more likely chance of Virtual memory from a secondary NAND chip, such as the modchip, because it would most likely be fast enough.

i dont know why flash games require the whole game to be in RAM... cuz you can play ISOs off your memory stick and i know that they dont fit into RAM  | |
