first, u need usbhostfs in ur pc. then u need the proper driver for that, when u connect the psp, instead of chosing the standard driver, u have to select the 1 for this. after that u have to place the iso in the ISO folder u get in the same place where usbhostfs is.

wow.

Can someone point me to the forum where people that know what they are talking about go? (I assume it's invite only)

As for the answer: As far as I am aware, IRShell and DAX Iso loader are the only ones that can use a usb connection to load isos (Not devhook, since it's just a way to run sony firmware, and sony doesn't support that). This means you can't play most FW 2.6 isos through usb.

As to how: rtfm on IRShell for usb redirection, or DAX Iso readme's (though, personally, I have never done it just through dax)

yes you can run iso's via devhook with a usb cable
i cant find u in on the how to atm as im at work
but its very simple just run the program that comes with it and u just enable the option in devhooks options then your off
then u just switch in between iso's from the XMB with the Home + R trigger
works great

Hi all this is my first post here but i thought i would help out a bit with this.

1. Yes you can use DevHook to run games via USB.

2. To do this you need to get the usbhostsfs files and also the PSP Type B driver (just google both the above with PSP at the end if necessary).

3. Once you have them, you need the USB & Screenshot mod for the version of DevHook you are using (again just google them both).

4. In that pack there is the config file for 2.71 (if you intend to use 2.71 then just use that). If not you will need to add the lines to the configuration files for 2.0 or 2.5.

5. If you have done all the above then start up DevHook with your PSP connected to the computer, and enable USB in the OTHER section of the menu.

6. This will make windows detect a new device, if you have your driver for PSP Type B then just point the installation wizard to that folder, or it will install on its own.

7. Then you will need to create a folder in the same place as the usbhostsfs called ISO.

8. In there place all the isos and run the usbhostsfs program on your pc and it will say connected to a device, then go to UMD select and your ISO should appear in that list.

This tutorial has everything you need, including files. It's for DAX, but it works
